Breakdown of last Rite Aid post

Since I have gotten a few questions about how we did our last Rite Aid trips here is a transaction by transaction breakdown including what coupons we used and +Up Rewards.

We stopped at Right Aid on our way out of town Thursday and bought 6 Tylenol Precise products @ $5.00 each, 4 boxes of Candy Canes on clearance for $0.25 each, box of Holiday cards for $2.49, and 3 Rudolph gift bags with stuffed toys and candy for $1.49 each.  That put our subtotal at $37.96.  We used 3 $6 off 2 Precise to make it $19.96 and we used $17 of +Up Rewards from previous transactions to make it $2.96 + $3.80tax for a total of $6.76.  We got 6 $3+Up Rewards from the Precise.

Then in PA on Friday we stopped and bought the 6 packs of Stayfree on sale for $2.50 each and 3 packs of Breathe Right strips on sale for $3.99 each and a 24" stuffed Woody doll on sale for $4.99.  That put our subtotal at $24.46.  We then used 3 Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupons and 3 $1 off 1 on the Stayfree, that made them $4.50 for 6.  Then we used 3 $2 off 1 Breathe Right which made them $5.97 for 3.  So now our subtotal is $15.46.  We then used 5 $3 +Up Rewards from previous transactions to make the subtotal $0.46 + $0.11 tax which made it $0.57 total.  We got 3 $2+Up Rewards from Stayfree and 3 $1+Up Rewards from Breathe Right, for $9+Up Rewards total.

Then we bought the Pillow Pet on sale for $17.99 and used $18+Up Rewards to make it free and got a $3+Up Reward back.

We went back on Sunday for the new sales week and here is what we did.

1st Transaction was Tide for $5.97, Viactiv for $6.00, 2 Nyquil Sinus $4.97 each, 2 NyQuil $4.97 each, 2 DayQuil $4.97 each and 2 Ducolax $4.99 each.  For a subtotal of $51.77.  We used $1 off Tide made it $4.97, 2 $4 off NyQuil Sinus made them $0.97 each, 2 $3 off if you buy both NyQuil and DayQuil made it $13.88 for all 4, 1 $3 off Viactiv made it $3.00, 2 $4 off Ducolax made them $0.99 each. So the subtotal became $25.77 we used $20 +Up Reward to make it $5.77 however looking at it now I see that they did not ring up one of the NyQuil so our subtotal was $0.80 + $0.15tax for a total of $0.95.  We got back $13+Up Rewards.

2nd Transaction was 2 Tiger Balm at $5.99 each used $10+Up Reward made it $1.98 (no tax I love shopping in PA) and got back $4+Up Rewards.

3rd Transaction was Rite Aid Tissue $1, Clearasil $5.66, Clearasil $5.21, 2 Dove Shampoo $2.99 each, 4 Ricola $1.50 each.  Subtotal $23.85.  We used 2 $1 off Dove, 2 $2 off Clearasil, 2 $1 off and 2 $2 off Ricola.  Subtotal became $11.85 we used $10 +Up Rewards to make it $1.85 + $0.12tax for a total of $1.97, and got back $7+Up Rewards.

4th Transaction was Santa Basketball Hat $0.49, 2 Kit Kat and 2 Reese's fot $0.50 each.  Subtotal was $2.49 we used 2 BOGO on the candybars and a $1+Up reward to make it $0.49 + $0.02tax for a total of $0.51

So Sundays transactions were $0.95 (should have been higher because of the NyQuil) $1.98, $1.97, and $0.51 for grand total of $5.41

Hope this helps.
