I built a spreadsheet to track our spending and savings so I could see exactly how much we were saving, where we were getting the best value, and to track the 3 month cycle of sales. The spreadsheet is very easy to work all I have to do is put in the date, store, and amounts from each receipt the spreadsheet does the rest. Here are our results straight from the spreadsheet.
We are saving on average $70 per week compared to what we spent before couponing. That adds up to almost $1,800 in 6 months that we used to spend on groceries but now have in our pockets. Add that to the over $5,000 worth of free stuff we have gotten and we have spent a lot less money and have a lot more stuff then we ever did before.
